Farm Progress Show: Come see us

The Farm Progress Show kicks off this week in Decatur, Ill. Will we see you there?

I am packing my actual bags and by the time you read this, I may be well on my way to Decatur. Other things on the to-do list: charge my camera batteries, dig out fresh notepads, print off my photo shoot list, organize my schedule.

And the schedule. Let me just say, when you bring in 600 exhibitors to the largest outdoor farm show in the country, you wind up with a lot of stuff to cover. Press conferences, new product releases, photos to be taken, notes to be written, hands to shake and more. All good things, and you can look for it all in the magazine and online in the coming weeks and months.

But here's the thing about the Farm Progress Show: It's my favorite because you get to see all the people. You bring in the best of Midwestern agriculture and you pile all of it into one location in Illinois, plus all the people who go with it. It's a little like old home week. And I'd love to catch up with you.

I'll be in a lot of places over the next couple days, but for sure, I'll be at the Meet the Editors booth in the Hospitality Tent from 2-4 p.m. each day.

(Except for Wednesday from about 2-3, when I think I get to meet Mike Rowe. I know. I'm probably a little too excited about that.)

Anyway, if you have a story to share, want to give a little feedback about something you've read in the magazine, or just want to chat, be sure to stop by. My colleagues will be there, too, so here's our complete schedule:
