From a new two-rider Alterra to a multi-purpose HDX, the company has several new machines headed to market.

Arctic Cat is jumping into the more-than-two-rider game with the new HDX 700 XT Crew. The HDX crew offers two sculpted bench rows of seating to accommodate up to six occupants. The machine's feature a 1,000-pound capacity, 2-in-1 cargo box that transforms into a flatbed. The Crew also has a range of storage options.

There's also the Arctic Cat built 700 engine for the muscle needed to carry that load. Colers include Fire Red, True Timber Camo and Team Arctic Green.

The new two-up Alterra, left, and the HDX Crew are just two new options from Arctic Cat's expanding utility vehicle line.

Alterra expands two-up rider option

Arctic Cat pioneered the idea of a two-rider four-wheeler, and for 2016 the company is rolling out the Alterra TRV. Comfort is a big deal to this market segment, and the Alterra offers enhanced ergonomics and styling. Popular features from the Alterra carry over to the TRV including a front and rear SpeedRack II system for easy attachment of accessories.

The Alterra TRV is available with Electronic Power Steering and a range of powerplants including 1000, 700, 550 and 500 engines, and it's available in a wide range of colors too.

Mid-size offers value price

Arctic Cat is rolling out the 2017 Prowler 500 which serves a growing demand for a mid-size utility side-by-side that's value-priced. This four-by-four machine is just 106.4 inches long by 56.4 inches wide, and bench seating for easy entry, and exit. The 500 offers plenty of horsepower and torque, it will tow up to 1,500 pounds and comes with an automatic transmission. There's a generous 8.5-gallon fuel tank, and the rear box can carry up to 500 pounds.
