FMC's Marvel Offers Broad Spectrum Post-Emerge Weed Control

Tank-mixed as a second mode weed control, Marvel can be used from pre-plant to flowering.

"Glyphosate resistance continues to make weed control more difficult," says Brent Neuberger, FMC's service advisor for the company's Agricultural Products Group.

"Marvel from FMC was designed as a pre-mix to offer a broader spectrum postemergence herbicide that provides growers with an excellent product to fit into their weed management programs."

With speed and use flexibility, Marvel controls resistant broadleaves such as waterhemp, palmer pigweed, lambsquarters, morningglory, and velvetleaf. Usually visual confirmation of control can be seen in 24 hours, says Neuberger.

Marvel is good as a tank-mix partner with other chemicals and can be used pre-plant to full flowering in beans.

FMC Agricultural Products Group is offering its Marvel herbicide for soybean growers. Marvel provides an aggressive tank-mix partner for post-emergence control of glyphosate-resistant weeds.
