Koch Announces New Nitrogen Stabilizer Formulations

Agrotain Advanced and Dri-Maxx offer improved blending, handling and application.

Koch Agronomic Services announced two new products to Agrotain family at the 2014 Farm Progress Show.

Agrotain Advanced is a patent-pending, concentrated liquid formulation. Based on lab and commercial use trials, the stabilizer offers improved performance at a reduced use rate which minimizes the potential for buildup during blending and applications.

Agrotain Dri-Maxx is an improved, lower use rate, patented dry formulation of Agrotain stabilizer. This highly concentrated dry formulation offers improved handling characteristics as well as better flowability of the treated fertilizer. The product adheres to urea granules without adding additional moisture to the blend, minimizing potential for buildup.

"With these new stabilizer products, we are realizing our goal of anticipating the needs of retailers and their grower customers by delivering innovative, proprietary technologies," says Stan Koster, senior vice president.

"Understanding the complexities of nutrient management, this expanded portfolio aligns with protecting liquid and dry nitrogen fertilizers against potential loss, giving retailers and growers peace of mind."

Agrotain Advanced and Agrotain Dir-Maxx will be available for fall 2004 across the US market. Expansion into other countries is pending regulatory approval.
