Patz calls it the 2400 Series II Trailer Vertical Mixer, we just think you'll call it big. The addition to the company's feed handling equipment line as an 1,100-cu. ft. capacity using twin vertical screws. And you can add optional side extensions to boost capacity to 1,270 cu. ft.
Using the company's Vortex Screws, the machine new 2400 Series II can incorporate a wider range of ingredients, including alternative feeds. Those screws work in concert with baffles to create a thorough mix of livestock feed no matter what you're putting in the machine, and the mixing occurs without compromising feed quality. The company says it can achieve a thorough total-mixed ration regardless of batch size.
The machine also features four super single truck tires and a self-steering rear axle to improve the turning radius while minimizing tire wear. The machine may be big, but it's maneuverable and will help producers meet capacity needs as part of their livestock production and management sysems. And the primary drive PTO features an automatic cutout clutch, eliminating the need to replace shear bolts. It's available with a two speed drive package with or without an optional oil cooling system. And there's a wide range of options available too. For more information, visit www.patzcorp.com.
