A series of biodiesel fuel management seminars are planned across Iowa in September. The seminars will offer the best management practices of blending, storing and using biodiesel year-round, including cold weather use.
The biodiesel fuel management seminars will also cover biodiesel use in 2007 engines and ultra-low sulfur diesel. The seminars will be held on the following dates and locations:
- Sept. 10: Mason City, Best Western Holiday Lodge
- Sept. 11: Spencer, Spencer Golf and Country Club
- Sept. 12: Dubuque, Best Western Midway Hotel
- Sept. 13: Des Moines, Adventureland Inn
- Sept. 14: Red Oak, Red Coach Inn
All seminars will begin with registration and a continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Programming starts at 9 a.m. The seminars will end at noon. Registration is free if registered by Sept. 5, 2007. The biodiesel fuel management seminars are sponsored by the Iowa Biodiesel Board, Iowa Soybean Association and Renewable Energy Group with support from the Agribusiness Association of Iowa, Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Stores of Iowa, Iowa-Nebraska Equipment Dealers Association and Iowa Motor Truck Association.
