Trimble tech scales bucket or fork loads

Trimble's S1100 onboard weighing system calculates feed payload pounds by the bucket or fork load

Trimble's S1100 onboard weighing system calculates feed payload pounds by the bucket or fork load. The brand-agnostic tool for tractors, forklifts and skid steers provides in-cab readings of how much you load.

Quick and convenient, it scales hay bales and other livestock feed by measuring hydraulic pressure changes. Payload weights and bucket counts are displayed in real time.

The S1100 works with up to nine attachments including buckets, forks, hay squeezes and soft hands bale handlers to accurately measure and manage feedstuffs. It can also be used to weigh incoming and outgoing feed for accurate invoicing and record keeping.

ON-THE-GO SCALING: The S1100 converts hydraulic pressure changes into pounds

"The big advantage of this weighing system is being able to consistently measure feed that livestock are being fed to prevent over and under feeding," says Erik Ehn, product marketing director for Trimble's Agriculture Division. "And, the system can provide accurate weight information to ensure the producer pays only for the quantity of feed they're actually receiving."
