The theme for the event, which is scheduled for Feb. 25-26, 2016, in Arlington, Va., will be "Transforming Agriculture."
Forum Chairman Seth Meyer said the theme is a look at changes that are and will be affecting the agriculture industry, including changes in land tenure and beginning farmers.
"We're talking about transformations in technology, transformations about who's participating in agriculture," Meyer said," and we're always going to have our outlook sessions on grains and oilseeds [for 2016]."
Panels include participation from USDA Deputy Secretary Krysta Harden, University researchers including Iowa State's Dermot Hayes and University of Illinois' Todd Kuethe, and representatives from national ag groups.
A full schedule for the forum can be found on the Office of the Chief Economist's website.
