The Beef Checkoff Program last week announced the "Rev It Up" My ROI Checkoff Challenge, where beef and dairy producers have the chance to win a three-passenger Yamaha VikingT EPS 4x4.
Producer Communications Working Group member Laurie Munns says the contest is broken into two rounds – the first round consists of eight weeks of sharing how the Beef Checkoff Program has impacted your operation.
Each week a new question is posted on the My Beef Checkoff Facebook page.
"The final round challenge is to produce a 2 to 3 minute video testimonial," Munns says. All of the semi-finalists will have about a week to create their video and then the public will vote to select the grand prize winner on Facebook.
"The videos don't need to be professionally produced," Munns says. "You can use your smartphone, tablet or home video camera to create the video. They are looking for original, unique checkoff-related stories to share with other beef producers."
Producers can visit the MyBeefCheckoff Facebook page every Monday to participate in the contest.
