Confessions of a Farm Wife, Vol. 12

We're down a farm wife but still talking GMOs, labeling laws, landlords, food safety and food dollars: where are they really going?

Well friends, we had a slight technical glitch in our most recent recording. That means DeAnna and I re-recorded this episode, on the phone. It's never as much fun as it is in person but a good conversation with a good friend, with good information, is always worthwhile.

L to R: Emily Webel (MIA today, due to technical glitch), DeAnna Thomas, Holly Spangler

I've mentioned in the past few weeks that I've been working on a series on GMO labeling (Would a GM Label Ensure Food Safety?, GM Label: Dollars Make a Difference, and GMOs: The Fight to Label). In this podcast, we spent some time talking about the interviews I did - inside scoop! - and very specifically, what actual grocery scanner data shows that people are really willing to pay for at the grocery store. DeAnna shares, too, how she and her husband are dealing wtih a landlord who's anti-GMO, based on his conversations in California.

Give it a listen, either on the gizmo above or download the SoundCloud app on your phone or iPad. We're trying to make it easier for you; let me know what you think!
