Donate Grain to Support FFA - The Future of Agriculture

Iowa FFA Foundation announces a fundraising program where you can donate grain to help support FFA and related ag education efforts in Iowa - and you can get a tax deduction as a benefit.

The Iowa FFA Foundation recently announced the kick-off of its Grain Drive fundraising program. This statewide program will collect grain to be used to support the Iowa FFA Association, Post-secondary Agricultural Students of Iowa, Iowa Association of Agricultural Educators and Iowa FFA Alumni Association. Students and educators throughout the state will use these contributions as they learn and help grow Iowa agricultural education programs.

Keep in mind that your generosity will be rewarded in more ways than one. You can get a tax deduction for making a charitable donation of grain to the Iowa FFA Foundation.

"This is a great opportunity to give back to your local community, while helping future agricultural leaders at the same time," says Linda Adamson, a representative of Titan Tire who serves as a board member of the Iowa FFA Foundation. "In partnering with Iowa cooperatives, we can accept grain donations year round," she explains.

To make your donation, simply notify your grain marketer or the elevator where you sell your grain that you would like to donate grain to the Iowa FFA Foundation Grain Drive. The Iowa FFA Foundation seeks and provides financial support to assist agricultural education organizations in accomplishing their missions.
