Northey to Visit Marshalltown

Iowa Secretary of Agriculture continues to listen to Iowans as he continues to visit Iowa towns.

Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey announced that he will be visiting Marshalltown on Thursday, August 2, 2007 to listen to Iowans, discuss the opportunities available in agriculture and answer any questions area residents might have. The visit is part of Northey's effort to have a town meeting in each of Iowa's 99 counties.

"I think it's important to make myself available to listen to Iowans and answer their questions about agriculture and the issues facing farmers across the state," Northey said. "I hope all interested parties, farmers and non farmers alike, will come out and take part in the discussion."

The detail of the visit is as follows:
Thursday, August 2, 2007
