Companies and individuals who are interested in Iowa's biofuels revolution are urged to attend the second annual Iowa Renewable Fuels Summit on January 31, 2008. The event is hosted by the Iowa Renewable Fuels Association and will take place at the Polk County Convention Center from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The summit is free and open to the public. Registration is required, which can be done at www.IowaRFA.org. Anyone with questions can contact IRFA at 515-252-6249. Last year's summit drew 400 people, and more are expected this year.

"Whether already involved in the renewable fuels industry or just wanting to learn more, this summit provides an excellent overview of where the Iowa renewable fuels industry is and what exciting advancements we expect in the future," says IRFA Executive Director Monte Shaw. This conference is our way of keeping everyone up-to-date on the amazing advances taking place."
Attendees will here from key Iowa policymakers and industry leaders. In addition, panels for this year's summit are: "A Sustainable Renewable Fuels Future" and "Future Fuels Need Future Markets."
IRFA was formed in 2002 to represent the state's liquid renewable fuels industry. The trade group fosters development and growth of the renewable fuels industry in Iowa through education, promotion, legislation and infrastructure development.
